The E-team working group (energy team) is working on this.
Solar panels
In recent years, 780 solar panels have been installed on the roofs of the buildings and warehouses to generate green energy. The annual yield of this is about 0.2 megawatts, which amounts to twice as much power as the consumption of the entire site.
Since 2016, the installation has been supplying power to the grid through Amsterdam Energie|OM.
The E-team received the sustainability subsidy from the Municipality of Amsterdam in 2023. That is why an external agency (Merosch) is currently investigating the best possible options for the entire site.
The outcome is expected in the summer of this year.
